This is a great opportunity to explore the nature of the Nam Lik. It is possible to see wildlife along the way such as monkeys, wild boar, rare birds, iguana and other reptiles.Rafting

The river passes through Sam Muean Muang Feuang (village of 30,000 cottages) and the sacred Pha Taw Naw Kham (Golden Bamboo Shoot Mountain) According to a local legend, if one were to climb this mountain she/he would die of an unknown spell. Even today, not one brave soul has yet to challenge the legend.

Sam Muean Muang Feaung, got its name from Sam Muean, which means 30,000, Katoob meaning cottage, Feaung meaning straws. The first settlers used straws to make their homes. There were about 30,000 straw cottages in Muang Feaung, hence the name Sam Muean Muang Feaung.
