Itinerary:
Day 1: Pakse - Tad Fan - Tad Yeaung Waterfall - Ban 40 KM

We depart from Pakse and drive for about 50 minutes to starting point. From here, we walk through the Bolaven Plateau coffee and tea plantation to Pa Sanguane Dong Hua Sao (National Protected Forest). There are two routes to take depending on seasons in Laos.

*During the wet season from June to October, tour will not go pass Hua Tad Fan (top of this waterfall) because of the danger of excess water. We will walk pass another Bolaven Plateau coffee farm through the timber forest, and then to Tad Yeaung Waterfall (swimming is allowed). We stop for some fun and lunch at the base of the Tad Yeaung Waterfall. After lunch we continue trekking around the vicinity of the waterfall. Another 4 hours walk takes us to Ban 40 KM to spend at a night at a village home stay.

*During the dry season from November to May, it is a great time to trek to the Tad Fan Waterfall over the top to see its beauty and charm. Trek leads through the thick and dense forest where we can see animals such as: Nok Hua Quan, and other different kinds of bird. If we are lucky, monkeys will appear. Also many types of orchids will be seen. We have lunch in the forest. Stroll along to Tad Yeaung Waterfall; enjoy a dip in the waterfall pool before we continue trekking to the village at Ban 38 KM to spend the night. The residents in this village are Low Land Lao and Khmu. Their main profession is growing coffee and other kinds of farming. Tad Yeaung Waterfall
