From Green Discovery Laos office in Vientiane, we drive by either public bus or private truck (different price) pass the imposing karsts of Khammouane to the Lao Loum village of Ban Na Hin where we start trekking through old growth forest to get to the Waterfall. We enjoy a picnic lunch and rest at the base of Nasanam Waterfall. Relax, swim, and enjoy sightseeing around the falls. Late after noon, we cycle up mountain to the viewpoint for sunset of Ban Nahin and return to Na Hin for the night
Approximately: 4 hours transfer/ 2 hours trekking /3 hours water fall/ 1 hour cycling
After breakfast, we cycle to Ban Kong Lor (Note: the road is under the construction) about 2 hours, passing various Lao Loum local villages and valleys. We can refresh by swimming at lagoon in front the cave and enjoy picnic lunch on the beach.
After lunch, we take an hour and a half long tail boat ride up to Konglor and then 45 minutes walk to Ban Natan where we will have a Lao style dinner and stay overnight home stay.
Approximately: 2 hours cycling/ 1 and 1/2 hour long tail boat/ 45 minutes walk
After breakfast, we participate in a traditional Baci ceremony. To save time, we’ll take a 10 minutes tok tok (tractor) ride to the starting point of kayaking. We paddle downstream back through the cave to the blue lagoon for a picnic lunch.
After lunch, we take a truck back to Ban Na Hin to pack our belongings and head back to reach Vientiane by evening.
Approximately: 2 ½ hours kayaking/ 2 hours transfer to Thakhek and 4 hours to Vientiane

• At Ban Nahin, you can continue onward to Vietnam. Travel is on your own account.
• There are 2 options for transportation. For private transport, this trip starts and ends in Vientiane. For public transport, this trip starts in Vientiane and ends in Thakhek or Vientiane.

The 7.5 kilometers of Nam Hinboun flows through the cave of Konglor. It is the longest and grandest cave in Laos measuring up to 70-80 meters in some places. Climb to the dark summit to see the top of the waterfall. It is a true cave explorer's experience complete with darkness and small spaces. When light shines on the water, you will be amazed by how clear it is.
